AKA: Friendship Plant, Money Plant, Jade Plant, Lucky Plant, Money Tree

Light: Full to medium light as with a south, west or east window; 4-6 hours of direct light daily. It will become leggy and soft and the leaves will flatten and wrinkle without enough light.

Watering: Water thoroughly then allow to dry out before watering again. Water slowly and evenly; discard excess to avoid root rot.

Humidity: Normal home humidity to dry air.

Toxicity: Toxic to cats, dogs and mildly toxic to humans. Do NOT confuse with Portulacaria afra which is non toxic and edible.

Potting Mix: Porous, fast draining and fast drying. Jade could benefit from adding a little organic matter too.

Additional Care: With lower light levels you should increase the time between watering. Needs fast draining soil. It will flower in the winter if the right conditions are met. Great plant for bonsai.
